THIS IS US: Lyric Ross Promoted to Series Regular

The THIS IS US cast is expanding: Lyric Ross has been made a series regular for the upcoming third season.

Ross joined the NBC drama in the second season as Deja, the foster child of Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson).

The series also stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Chris Sullivan, and Jon Huertas. It was created by Dan Fogelman.

THIS IS US had a big freshman season, with a post-Super Bowl episode that revealed how Jack (Ventimiglia) died and eight Emmy nominations. (Including a nod for Outstanding Drama Series.)
