Jordan Peele to Host THE TWILIGHT ZONE
September 20, 2018 by Marisa Roffman
Jordan Peele is stepping into THE TWILIGHT ZONE.
The actor/writer/producer, whose company Monkeypaw Productions is behind the upcoming CBS All Access reboot of the iconic property, will host/narrate the series. In the original show, creator Rod Serling famously embodied that role.
“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours,” said Peele in a statement. “I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of THE TWILIGHT ZONE.”
The anthology series—every episode is a new story/cast—goes into production this fall; it’s expected to bow on CBS All Access in 2019.
Check out a video tease announcing the news, which includes Serling and Peele’s take on the show’s introduction…
