THE TWILIGHT ZONE: Adam Scott to Star in ‘Nightmare at 30,000 Feet’

Adam Scott is entering THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

The former PARKS AND RECREATION star is the latest guest star to be announced for the upcoming CBS All Access reboot of the iconic anthology series— Sanaa Lathan will guest star in a separate episode, “Rewind”—but what may be even more intriguing is the episode title of his installment: “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet.”

In the original series, William Shatner led “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” as a man thinks he sees a monster on the wing of a plane…but no one believes him. (The installment was also recreated in 1983’s TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE.) The installment has also seen homages on THE SIMPSONS’ “Treehouse of Horror,” SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and, notably, KEY AND PEELE. (Jordan Peele is hosting and executive producing the streaming series.)
