Fox has officially set its midseason schedule.
In addition to the previously announced premieres for THE PASSAGE, THE ORVILLE, and THE MASKED SINGER, the network has set a January 3 return for GOTHAM’s final season (the series also received and order for extra episodes), a January 2 premiere for GORDON RAMSAY’S 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK, and a February 15 launch for the series premiere of PROVEN INNOCENT.

9-1-1 is always bonkers, but the show’s Halloween episode promises to be a little extra crazy. Per Fox, the episode “finds the first responders racing to the rescue at a cemetery, a haunted hayride and a spooky Hollywood parade. Meanwhile, Maddie thinks she has received a “ghost” call from a missing hiker, Hen finds herself facing a life-or-death situation with the father who abandoned her and Eddie reconnects with his estranged wife (guest star Devin Kelley).”

Fox has set its cast for the live production of RENT. (The musical will air Sunday, January 27, 2019.)
The musical, which debuted in 1996, is a re-imagining of Puccini’s “La Bohème.” RENT follows a group of dreamers who are trying to fulfill their dreams in the midst of social and relationship challenges.
In addition to the show’s Broadway and touring run, a feature film was released in 2005 with much of the original cast, including Taye Diggs, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, and Anthony Rapp.

Fox has ordered a new animated comedy, DUNCANVILLE, from executive producers Amy Poehler and Mike and Julie Scully.
Per Fox, “the series centers on the life of Duncan, a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy, his family and friends. Poehler will provide the voice of Duncan and his high-strung mom, Annie, who is constantly trying to prevent her son from ruining his life.” The series also stars Rashida Jones and Wiz Khalifa.
