ARROWverse: The CW Releases ‘Elseworlds’ Poster

“Elseworlds” is coming!

The three-show ARROWverse crossover (featuring FLASH, ARROW, and SUPERGIRL; it will also serve as the introduction to Ruby Rose’s Batwoman) will be set in “Elseworlds,” which traditionally tells stories that take place outside of DCU canon.

This is news worth toasting to: James Purefoy has joined THE WINE SHOW.

The first season of the lifestyle/docuseries followed Matthew Goode and Matthew Rhys as they learned more about various wines. In the sophomore season, “from their beautiful new villa in France, Purefoy and Goode set off on a new challenge in every episode, uncovering some of the best wines in the world, and telling the stories that surround them. Back in the UK, Matthew Rhys is in glamorous and historic London St James’s on his quest to find gadgets old and new. In addition to tasting the wines brought back from around the globe, Purefoy and Goode are tasked by wine expert Joe Fattorini to find a case of wine to match a six course French lunch cooked by Michelin starred chef Stephane Reynaud. But this year, Joe is not judging. Jancis Robinson, the world’s most influential wine critic, decides which wines make it to the Wine Show Case. And she is taking no prisoners. COUNTERPART Season 2: Starz Releases Trailer, Key Art, and Premiere Date

COUNTERPART season 2 will return Sunday, December 9 at 9/8c, Starz announced.

With the series returning in less than two months, Starz also released new key art, a trailer, and an official description for the sophomore season. Read more

FX Orders BREEDERS to Series

FX has ordered BREEDERS, a new comedy starring Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard, to series. The 10-episode first season will debut in 2020.

Per FX, BREEDERS “exposes the parental-paradox that it is possible, in the very same moment, to love your child to the horizon of the universe, while being apoplectically angry enough to want to send them there. Martin Freeman stars as a caring father discovering he’s not quite the man he thought he was.”
