About Last Night…CHICAGO MED, SEAL TEAM, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, and More
November 1, 2018 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!
THE GOLDBERGS: It was really sweet that Murray wanted to pass on FIDDLER ON THE ROOF to his son. And we know that Bev will get back to her smothering, but it was nice that she helped Erica with her potential career…even if it came after she tried to sabotage a move to California.
CHICAGO MED: The case with the adopted daughter was absolutely heartbreaking. How tragic that a well-meaning couple attempting to save a young girl’s life ended up taking it too far. (Obviously it was wrong, but the real victim was the girl. She lost the only family she ever knew, was sick, and who knows what relationship she’ll have with her birth mother.)
Is it wrong that Will and Natalie saving the abused wife was kind of the perfect bachelor/bachelorette activity for them? But the party was sweet, too.
MODERN FAMILY: Ohhhhh, Phil’s student/Luke’s girlfriend was so, so, so awkward.
SEAL TEAM: It makes sense that Emma would be the deciding factor in getting Jason to return to Bravo Team. She’s right: it’s better for the family to have all of him part of the time, compared to part of him all of the time. Jason would never have been able to survive without his second family; especially as the guilt ate him alive every time things got dangerous for the team when he wasn’t there to have their back.
A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: I’m glad they confirmed that Eddie was the father of Delilah’s unborn kid immediately. It seemed obvious immediately that she was lying and why she was doing it. I’m actually a little surprised he agreed to go along with it—and of course there is practically zero way the secret will remain that way—and I’m curious where their relationship goes from here.
And major props to Romany Malco (who plays Rome) and Christina Moses (Regina) who was brutally raw in the scene where Regina finally discovered that Rome nearly killed himself.
