CHICAGO P.D. Exclusive Clip: Dawson Makes a Frantic (and Alarming) Request

On Wednesday’s episode of CHICAGO P.D., “Black and Blue,” the team has their work cut out for them as they try to find a crime boss and his associates.

In an exclusive clip from the hour (below), they work through some leads—including tracking down a lower level dealer—and Voight (Jason Beghe) sends them on their way.

But for Dawson (Jon Seda), that’s the least of his concerns. With his shoulder still in pain, it seems he’s gone through his prescribed pain medication significantly faster than he should have. So when he gets a call back from his doctor and requests a refill, Dawson’s horrified to learn he can’t get more for another eight days. “I need more today,” he insists.

Uh oh…
