About Last Night…THE FLASH, THE CONNERS, THE ROOKIE, and More
November 21, 2018 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!THE CONNERS: I hope for the family’s sake Becky is able to have a healthy and successful pregnancy. (Early bets on whether if it’s a girl, it’s named after Roseanne?)
It’ll be interesting to see how Jay R. Ferguson’s character develops/how Darlene handles his independence…
THE VOICE: Wow, that Bottom 3 was two-thirds incorrect. Really, no one on Team Kelly or Team Jennifer should have been at risk. Such a shame SandyRedd went away—and what was with that BS Voice Save results for her?! Sigh. Okay, let’s see what next week brings.
THE FLASH: Of course Caitlin’s father wasn’t going to be a good guy, but still: poor Caitlin. I’m curious to see how they use Caitlin’s ability to speak with Killer Frost going forward.
SPLITTING UP TOGETHER: I was a little bummed out by this episode—Lena’s story felt kind of depressing and I’m not a fan of hunting—but the “7 Years”/Lukas Graham moment for Martin made me laugh out loud.
THE ROOKIE: Okay, their competition looked really, really fun? I get the point that it wasn’t a game because there were real lives at stakes, but it seemed really enjoyable. (And haha to Tim bribing the call operators to try and nab the best emergencies to score points.)
Now that Chen and Nolan are truly broken up, it makes sense there would be a lingering impact in this week’s episode. But I hope it isn’t still hovering over the show a dozen episodes down the line.
