Fox Sets 71st Emmy Awards Date

It’s never too early for the start of Emmy season.

Fox and the Television Academy announced that the annual television award show will air Sunday, September 22 at 8/7c (and live at 5 PM PT).

Per Fox and the Academy, “host(s) and producers for the 71^st EMMY AWARDS will be announced at a later date.” (The network hosting the awards traditionally uses its own talent to oversee the awards. The last three hosts when the show aired on Fox were Ryan Seacrest, Jane Lynch, and Andy Samberg.)
