ONE CHICAGO: NBC Orders More CHICAGO MED, CHICAGO FIRE, and CHICAGO P.D.
November 28, 2018 by Marisa Roffman
NBC is expanding its ONE CHICAGO order.
The network has ordered two additional hours for CHICAGO MED (currently in season 4), CHICAGO FIRE (season 7), and CHICAGO P.D. (season 6), Give Me My Remote has confirmed. The extra installments brings each series’ planned season to 22 episodes.
Eriq La Salle, a frequent director on P.D., broke the news about his show.
NBC bet big on the Dick Wolf-executive produced franchise this season, devoting its entire Wednesday night to the ONE CHICAGO block. (It’s also made crossovers easier, both on the larger scale and the more minor appearances.)
The three shows have their fall finales on Wednesday, December 5, with MED prepping for a big wedding, FIRE dealing with a massive wreck, and P.D. contending with one of its own potentially going off the deep end.
