SCHOOLED: ABC Sets Premiere for THE GOLDBERGS Spinoff

ABC has set a Wednesday, January 9 premiere for THE GOLDBERGS spinoff SCHOOLED. It’ll air at 8:30/7:30c, giving the GOLDBERGS-set universe the entire hour-block.

The comedy follows Lainey (AJ Michalka), in 1990-something, working at her former school. Here’s the official logline for the comedy:

“SCHOOLED, set in 1990-something, follows the hilarious faculty of William Penn Academy, led by new music teacher and WP graduate Lainey Lewis (AJ Michalka), Principal Glascott (Tim Meadows), Coach Mellor (Bryan Callen) and young, enthusiastic super-teacher Charlie Brown, or CB for short (Brett Dier). Despite their eccentricities and crazy personal lives, these teachers are heroes to their students.”

AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE will move to Tuesdays at 8/7c—THE CONNERS’ current time slot—starting February 5. The network has also ordered an addition episode of HOUSEWIFE.
