Comments Off on THE MASKED SINGER: Check Out the Bonkers Contestants
THE MASKED SINGER, the new reality competition series on Fox, is straight-up bonkers.
On the series, concealed celebrities—disguised in elaborate costumes—sing on stage to a panel of experts, who are both judging their performance and trying to identify who they actually are. (It’s ridiculously addictive.)
Want to get an early look at the contestants participating (decked out in their costume)? Check out these crazy photos…

The CHARMED Cast on Their Off-Screen Bond

Comments Off on The CHARMED Cast on Their Off-Screen Bond
CHARMED has been one of the quiet successes of the season, nabbing a (now-rare) full 22-episode season and helping the network launch original programming on Sunday night.
But one of the key elements of its success is something you can’t script: the chemistry among its stars—Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, and Sarah Jeffery—who portray the witch sisters.
And going through an experience like CHARMED, which is a reboot of a popular series, can be a lot for its stars to go through…so the trio has also had each other to lean on.
In the videos below, they share some thoughts about their unique bond… Read more

Comments Off on THE ORVILLE: Adrianne Palicki Teases Kelly and Ed’s Relationship in Season 2
After more than a year off the air, THE ORVILLE is back on Sunday, December 30. (Immediately following the NFL ON FOX doubleheader.)
When the drama left off, off-on couple Kelly (Adrianne Palicki) and Ed (Seth MacFarlane) held off on reuniting and opted to take some time apart. (At Kelly’s suggestion.) But being with your ex on a ship isn’t easy—as they proved during the first season—and it may not go quite as they expect.
Palicki teases what’s to come for the duo in the video below, plus she shares what was difficult for her to pull off in the first season… Read more
THE GOOD PLACE: D’Arcy Carden on Kicking Butt as Janet

Comments Off on THE GOOD PLACE: D’Arcy Carden on Kicking Butt as Janet
THE GOOD PLACE’s D’Arcy Carden (Janet) had one heck of a one-two punch of episodes with “Don’t Let the Good Life Pass You By” and “Janet(s).”
While “Janet(s)” was a stunning showcase of Carden’s talents, as she portrayed virtually all of the characters in their Janet-forms (thanks to them needing to hide out in her void), “DLtGLPYB” was its own challenge.

Comments Off on SUPERSTORE: Lauren Ash Recalls Her ‘Overwhelming’ Reaction to Filming ‘Delivery Day’
SUPERSTORE’s Dina (Lauren Ash) had an incredible arc in 2018, as she went from Glenn’s (Mark McKinney) professional foe to his surrogate.
Naturally, Dina evolved on-screen as she went through the process. But what Ash didn’t expect was the reaction she had while filming “Delivery Day,” the episode where her character gave birth.

Top 15 Shows and Episodes of 2018

Comments Off on Top 15 Shows and Episodes of 2018
In case you haven’t heard, there’s a lot of TV. A lot. Close to 500 scripted shows, in fact. That’s made these “end of year” lists absolutely brutal.
So here are a few caveats:
1) This is a hybrid list of the best episodes and shows I watched this year. My rules were I could only have one overlap with show and episode (which also happens to be my personal pick for best show/episode of the year) and I couldn’t pick a show if I hadn’t finished every episode that aired in 2018. (That also means shows I really have been enjoying like KIDDING and ESCAPE FROM DANNEMORA aren’t on the list. There just are not enough hours in the day.)
2) Given the sheer amount of TV, it’s quite possible/probable your favorite isn’t represented here. I’m sorry! But feel free to let me know what particularly excited you this year in the comments.
That being said, here is the list (in alphabetical order)…

Comments Off on CHICAGO P.D.: LaRoyce Hawkins Reflects on ‘Black and Blue’
Though CHICAGO P.D.’s Dawson (Jon Seda) is the character at the center of the fall finale cliffhanger, his squadmates aren’t exactly having an easy season.
Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) has been put through the ringer in season 6, with things getting particularly tough in “Black and Blue.” In the hour, the investigation into a drug dealer’s murder forced Atwater to go undercover—where he got close to a local helper, who ended up getting jailed on a technicality—and led to him ultimately tossing evidence to protect a young black man.

CHICAGO FIRE underwent a number of changes in 2018, a fact that showrunner Derek Haas is all too aware of.
“We got the new time slot on Wednesday nights at 9,” he says. “And then having MED as a lead-in and PD as a lead-out has been just way beyond what anybody’s expectations were. The way our viewers embraced all three being on one night and being ONE CHICAGO. This first half of the season, I’m particularly proud of.”

CHICAGO MED had a big year as it joined a newly-formed ONE CHICAGO block on NBC, said hello/goodbye to some faces, and expanded the emergency department.
But what were showrunners Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider most proud they were able to pull off in 2018?
