FRIENDS is Staying on Netflix
December 3, 2018 by Marisa Roffman
Could we be any more excited?
FRIENDS is staying on Netflix “throughout 2019,” the streaming service tweeted.
The future of the sitcom on Netflix came into question when some fans saw an expiration date when accessing the title. Though the series reairs on multiple networks (and is available on DVD/Blu-ray), Netflix is the show’s only streaming home.
FRIENDS’ future streaming home beyond 2019 is a little bit cloudy–Warner Bros. (the show’s studio) is launching its own streaming service, and it appears it could move over there.
Here’s Netflix’s (appropriate) announcement…
