In NBC’s new drama THE ENEMY WITHIN, former CIA agent Erica Shepherd (Jennifer Carpenter) seemingly betrayed her country—but FBI Agent Will Keaton (Morris Chestnut) needs her expertise to help take down bigger threats. (Think THE BLACKLIST, but with a deeper sense of betrayal.)
Of course, Keaton’s team has mixed takes on Shepherd being sprung from prison to join their team. Raza Jaffrey (who plays Daniel Zain) and Cassandra Freeman (Jacquelyn Pettigrew) spoke with reporters about how their characters fit into the show’s bigger picture…
