Let’s talk about Tuesday’s TV!

MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: The kids’ joy over everything brings me so much joy. Uh, and I don’t even eat meat, but that cheese-infused burger is brilliant.

FBI: Look, there are real things to talk about, but we need to first discuss the show shot-gunning off the bad dude’s arm?! Matthew Lillard was channeling SCREAM for a long portion of the final scene, AND THEN THEY SHOT OFF HIS ARM. How??? Why????????

The new team seems relatively interesting, but I’m curious how they’ll keep the stakes up every week. As they noted, it’s extremely rare for someone to make the Most Wanted list, so how will they handle that?

SPLITTING UP TOGETHER: Uh, Lisa’s song was super, super inappropriate. I’m also bummed Lena is now paranoid about Lisa/Martin, because her relationship with Lisa was so sweet and abnormal from what we tend to see on television. I’d hate for us to lose that bond because she’s now jealous.

Oh my God, I’m so glad they acknowledged how huge Maya’s baby was. I thought it was just a casting choice (because it’s hard to get super newborn babies on TV), but that kid was very big.

THE ROOKIE: Nolan is smart, but man, he was dumb last night. I’m glad Bishop came clean, but yikes, so many of the cops could plausibly lose their job by the end of the season.

Also, Lucy and Tim are just fun.
