Fox Cancels THE GIFTED, REL

Fox has canceled its first two shows of the season: THE GIFTED and REL will not return for the 2019-2020 season.
THE GIFTED, a Marvel mutant series starred Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Coby Bell, Skyler Samuels, and Grace Byers.
REL, a freshman comedy based on the comedy of Lil Rel Howery, didn’t get an initial order beyond its initial 12-episode pickup. The series starred Howery, Jessica “Jess Hilarious” Moore, Jordan L. Jones, and Sinbad.
So far, Fox has ordered new seasons of 9-1-1, THE RESIDENT, THE SIMPSONS, and THE MASKED SINGER.
