NBC Orders THE KENAN SHOW to Series

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE star Kenan Thompson is getting his own primetime show: NBC has ordered THE KENAN SHOW to series.
Per NBC, “In this family comedy, Kenan Thompson strives to be a super dad to his two adorable girls while simultaneously balancing his job and a father-in-law who “helps” in the most inappropriate ways.”
The comedy also stars Punam Patel, Dani Lockett, Dannah Lockett and Andy Garcia. It was created by Jackie Clarke; Chris Rock will direct and executive produce. Additional EPs include Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer.
