THE VOICE Highlight: Maelyn Jarmon Performs a Chill-Inducing Cover of ‘Hallelujah’
May 21, 2019 by Marisa Roffman
“Hallelujah” is a song that has been covered dozens of times—including arguably its most popular rendition—so THE VOICE season 16 finalist Maelyn Jarmon took quite a risk by picking it as one of her finale songs. But, boy, it paid off.
Team Legend’s Jarmon arguably should have been the frontrunner by the time she stepped on stage to close out the show with the Leonard Cohen song—but she left no room for doubt by the time she finished.
Have any doubts? Check out Jarmon’s incredible rendition of “Hallelujah”…
