THE DARK CRYSTAL: AGE OF RESISTANCE: Netflix Releases New Teaser, Key Art

THE DARK CRYSTAL: AGE OF RESISTANCE—a prequel to THE DARK CRYSTAL, Jim Henson’s 1982 film—will debut on Netflix on Friday, August 30.

Per the streaming service, “THE DARK CRYSTAL: AGE OF RESISTANCE returns to the world of Thra with an all new adventure. When three Gelfling discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis’ power, they set out on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their world.”

The voice cast includes Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nathalie Emmanuel, Harvey Fierstein, Mark Hamill, Caitriona Balfe, Helena Bonham Carter, Natalie Dormer, Eddie Izzard, Alicia Vikander, Jason Isaacs, Keegan-Michael Key, Simon Pegg, Andy Samberg, Harris Dickinson, Theo James, Toby Jones, Shazad Latif, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mark Strong, Ralph Ineson, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Donna Kimball.
