MODERN LOVE: The Star-Studded Anthology Gets a First Teaser

MODERN LOVE, Amazon’s new romantic anthology series, will bow on Friday, October 18. The show, which is inspired by the New York Times column by the same name, “explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms as each standalone episode brings some of the most beloved stories to life with a stellar cast.”

The first season stars Sofia Boutella, Gary Carr, Olivia Cooke, Brandon Victor Dixon, Tina Fey, John Gallagher, Jr., Andy Garcia, Julia Garner, Anne Hathaway, Catherine Keener, Cristin Milioti, Dev Patel, Andrew Scott, John Slattery, and Shea Whigham.

The series comes from John Carney, who also directed/wrote select episodes.  Sharon Horgan, Tom Hall, and Emmy Rossum also directed episodes of the series. (Horgan helmed/penned the Tina Fey-John Slattery episode; Hall also wrote his episode; Rossum directed an episode written by the late Audrey Wells.
