FRIENDS’ 25th Anniversary: The Best (Bonkers) Episode Descriptions

[On Thursday, September 22, 1994, NBC debuted the pilot of FRIENDS. The sitcom, about a group of six 20-something friends, went on to become a pop culture touchstone. In honor of the milestone, we’re doing 25 Days of FRIENDS, looking back at the show in big and small ways.]
Writing an episodic description is a genuine art: you have to tease enough about what’s going on while not revealing too much…while also being engaging.
As FRIENDS has aired in syndication, some of the episode descriptions have gotten, well, pointed. There are corny jokes, snark at characters (poor Ross), and a whole lot more. Here are a few of the best descriptions you might spot in your cable guide*…
