About Last Night…THE FLASH, THE CONNERS, ARROW, and More
October 30, 2019 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!
THE FLASH: The episode itself felt kind of forgettable, but that Joe and Barry moment…oof, my heart. The show has almost always been at its best when those two were sharing scenes—and Joe having to contend with Barry possibly dying very, very soon was almost too much for my heart to take.
THE CONNERS: Mary and Mark bonding over appearing different—and getting unwanted attention—was a really, really lovely scene. It’s often hard for a scene like that to work (especially with child actors), but it felt so natural and well-handled.
THE VOICE: I know Joana Martinez was stolen, but how the heck was she ever cut from Team Blake?!? Good lord.
ARROW: Finally, finally, finally, FINALLY. My interest in the future storyline has ebbed and flowed, but bringing the core future characters to the present at least shakes things up and gives real stakes.
