SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: James Corden, Jimmy Fallon, and Paul Rudd Portray NATO Leaders
December 8, 2019 by Marisa Roffman
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’s cold open mocked the recent viral video of NATO leaders laughing at President Trump. And to portray Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and French President Emmanuel Macron, the variety series brought in former SNL cast member Jimmy Fallon, LATE LATE SHOW host James Corden, and Paul Rudd.
In the sketch, Trudeau, Johnson, and Macron kept Alec Baldwin’s Trump away from their “cool kids” table at NATO’s cafeteria, mocking him, and putting an “Impeach Me” sign on his back.
