About Last Night…THE SIMPSONS, BOB’S BURGERS, and FAMILY GUY
December 16, 2019 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Sunday’s TV!
THE SIMPSONS: The series, which is designed to only occasionally follow up on threads from previous episodes, actually was consistent with where Sideshow Bob was! (That’s not a dig, at all. It was a genuinely pleasant surprise he was still in the lighthouse.) But it is also incredible to think about the very timely references in this episode, including “Baby Shark.” Five years from now, are kids still going to be singing it? (I’m also terrified of that answer.)
BOB’S BURGERS: I’m really happy for Linda that her faith in delivering the package paid off…there really was a boy at the address. I love that Tina is the perfect gift-giver, though. Her siblings giving her a hug as part of the gift was hilariously cheap, but also super fitting.
FAMILY GUY: I don’t know if Meg obsessing over Santa (after he, uh, “made her a woman”) is the weirdest storyline she’s had, but it has to be close, right?
