Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Well, some of the songs felt like very, very odd choices for a finale. On the other, some of the choices were absolutely inspired. Jake Hoot pulling out “Amazed”?! Fantastic. Katie Kadan doing “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”!? So great.

I was a little disappointed with most of the duet choices, though. “Merry Christmas Baby” was probably the most vocally flattering, while at least the guitar work on “Run Rudolph Run” was really fantastic.

I don’t know how reliable the iTunes charts will end up being, but it’s fascinating that Ricky Duran is #1, while Jake has four songs in the top 10. (Katie has two.)

My personal preference this season after the finale? 1) Jake. 2) Katie. 3) Ricky. 4) Rose. (I didn’t see that coming, either.)
