Which THE SIMPSONS Characters Were the Most Searched?
December 17, 2019 by Marisa Roffman
With THE SIMPSONS turning 30 today, SEMrush, a trends data provider, shared some fascinating—and a little alarming—stats about what people have been Googling about the series since 2015.
According to their data, Bart Simpson is the most Googled character in the United States, followed by Homer, Sideshow Bob, and Marge. (See below for the full list in order.) Most alarming?! Maggie doesn’t even make the top 10.
Unsurprisingly, “Treehouse of Horror” was Googled 610% more than the second-most searched for episode, which was “Cape Feare.” (The Halloween installments all being dubbed “Treehouse of Horror” certainly helped that stat.)
Also not a surprise: “What did THE SIMPSONS predict” was the most Googled question.
- Most searched characters in order:
- Bart Simpson
- Homer Simpson
- Sideshow Bob
- Marge Simpson
- Lisa Simpson
- Mr Burns
- Ned Flanders
- Krusty the Clown
- Apu
- Ralph Wiggum
