CBS All Access will launch its STAR TREK spinoff, STAR TREK: PICARD, on Thursday, January 23, 2020, the streaming platform announced at New York Comic Con.
Prior to the convention, very little was known about the new series—CBS All Access has teased PICARD will “follow this iconic character into the next chapter of his life”—but in addition to Patrick Stewart reprising his title character, he’ll be joined by Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway and Evan Evagora.

M. Night Shyamalan is stepping back into the television world—well, off-screen, after his brief stint on THIS IS US—with the new Apple TV+ series SERVANT.
The series, from creator Tony Basgallop, follows “a Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.” The cast includes Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free, and Rupert Grint.

CBS All Access has revealed a new trailer for Kevin Williamson’s TELL ME A STORY. The streaming platform also released the official key art (above).
The anthology series, which reimagines fairytales, will feature stories inspired by Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella. Per CBS All Access, “we’ll meet the Pruitt family as they navigate love, loss, romance and terror against the iconic backdrop of Music City – Nashville, Tenn.”
The second season stars Paul Wesley, Carrie-Anne Moss, Odette Annable, Eka Darville, Matt Lauria, Natalie Alyn Lind, Ashley Madekwe, Danielle Campbell, Garcelle Beauvais, Caleb Castille, and Christopher Meyer.

With just about a month until HIS DARK MATERIALS bows on HBO (on Monday, November 4 at 9/8c), the official season 1 trailer has been released.
Per HBO, the series which is based on the Philip Pullman trilogy by the same name, “follows Lyra (Dafne Keen), a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world. Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust.”
HIS DARK MATERIALS also stars Ruth Wilson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, James McAvoy, Clarke Peters, James Cosmo, Anne-Marie Duff, Will Keen, and Ariyon Bakare.
