CHICAGO MED Exclusive Clip: The ED Discovers One of Their Own May Be Hurt
January 14, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
On the Wednesday, January 15 episode of CHICAGO MED, the ED is stunned to learn that one of their own may be in a life-or-death situation.
In the exclusive clip below from “The Ground Shifts Beneath Us,” Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) and Ethan (Brian Tee) are informed the plane crash victim they’re working on is named Sam Abrams…which just happens to be the name of the hospital’s Head of Neurosurgery.
“It’s not the first time that we, as a core group of hospital staff, has dealt with [one of our own at risk],” Yaya DaCosta (who plays April) says. “But this is different, because he is kind of a leader in the hospital. Even though we don’t see him every episode, there’s a very strong presence. And his personality is very strong and steady. So for something like that to happen is just very shocking.”
“It’s nice to see how close knit a work environment we have; it really is family life,” DaCosta continues. “So when something is happening to one of us, people rally.”
