About Last Night…THE FLASH, FBI, FBI: MOST WANTED, and More
February 12, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!
THE FLASH: Considering how close we are to the “Crisis” fallout, it felt a little early to have something that felt like filler? Please don’t get me wrong: Episodes that aren’t tied to the mythology are often my favorites in these kinds of shows. (Or things like FRINGE and THE X-FILES.) It just feels like if you’re going to make that decision at this point in the storytelling, it has to be super, super strong.
FBI: It’s feeling more obvious that Missy Peregrym is being limited due to her pregnancy, but the show is handling it well. Though OA needs a break, man.
LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: I was initially worried the show was going to imply the love of a good woman could stop a serial killer, but I was glad they at least made it more twisted…surprise, it was actually his mother! Rory at his high school reunion was hilarious, though. (And DJ Nora?!)
FBI: MOST WANTED: Kellan Lutz was fantastic as the show tackled Kenny’s post traumatic stress and the trauma veterans often go through after returning home.
One of the things that’s fascinated me so far about the show is how well they’ve made the criminals of the week both awful and sympathetic. I’m curious how long that can sustain or whether they’ll be able to keep it up for the duration.
