Liev Schreiber Hints RAY DONOVAN May Return
February 12, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
Weeks after Showtime canceled RAY DONOVAN, the show may be getting a second life.
Series star Liev Schreiber posted a note on Instagram, thanking fans for their outpouring of support in the wake of the show’s unexpected cancellation, and teased there might be more to come from the drama.
“It’s hard to describe how amazing it feels to those of us in the RAY DONOVAN family who have been lucky enough to experience the overwhelming love and support that all of us you have expressed for our show since the news broke that RAY would not return,” he wrote. “What’s even more incredible is that it seems your voices have been heard.”
“Too soon to say how or when, but with a little luck and your ongoing support, there will be more RAY DONOVAN,” he continued. “So to all of the Donofans who got their bats out and beat the odds. Thank you.”
Update: A rep for Showtime declined to comment.
The series aired its apparent final episode in January, with its future up in the air. Showtime only made its cancellation official in early February.
