AMERICA’S GOT TALENT Adds Sofia Vergara

 

Sofia Vergara‘s MODERN FAMILY may be coming to a head, but she’s won’t be off television for long: the actress has joined the AMERICA’S GOT TALENT judging panel, NBC announced.

“I’m so happy to join my new family on AGT,” Vergara said in a statement. “This is a new and exciting next chapter for me and I’m extremely proud to be the first Latin judge on the show. I can’t wait to watch all the talent and have fun with all you guys!”

Vergara joins returning judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel, as well as host Terry Crews. Heidi Klum, who took a hiatus from the regular version of the series (she judged THE CHAMPIONS), will also be back.

“I’m so excited to be back at AGT with Simon, Howie and Terry,” said Klum. “The fact that Sofia Vergara is joining us is the icing on an already delicious cake.”
