Disney+ Releases FROZEN 2 Months Ahead of Schedule

FROZEN 2 is launching on Disney+ three months ahead of schedule, The Walt Disney Company announced. The film, which stars voice cast Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, will start rolling out on Sunday, March 15 in the US. Internationally, it will be available on Disney+ in Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand on Tuesday, March 17.
“FROZEN 2 has captivated audiences around the world through its powerful themes of perseverance and the importance of family, messages that are incredibly relevant during this time, and we are pleased to be able to share this heartwarming story early with our Disney+ subscribers to enjoy at home on any device,” said Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company, in a statement.
According to Disney+, the film will initially be available in high definition in the US, with Ultra HD video playback available to all subscribers on Tuesday, March 17.
