Daily Dose of Joy: PRODIGAL SON…As a Family Comedy?
April 1, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
[This is part of our ongoing series. We all need joy right now. Here’s hoping this helps.]
PRODIGAL SON viewers were treated to a surprise bonus video at the end of the Monday, March 30 episode: a hilarious video of the series, reimagined as a family-friendly comedy.
In the spot—created for April Fool’s Day—it showcases probably every light moment/smile* on the series, as the “new” opening credits pay homage to the comedies of the late ’80s, early ’90s. It’s…absolutely adorable? (Not necessarily a word you think of when you picture the deliciously twisted PRODIGAL SON.)
Watch the delightful video!
*excluding Keiko Agena’s Edrisa, who finds joy in even the craziest of things.
