About Last Night…THE MASKED SINGER, SCHOOLED, MODERN FAMILY, and More
April 2, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!
THE GOLDBERGS: Aww, poor Adam. But if he takes a gap year, it could buy the show more time before he potentially leaves for college.
THE MASKED SINGER: Finally, finally, finally, finally. The rant I would have gone on if the freaking White Tiger had stuck around would have been…probably the rant to end all rants. (Sorry, Gronk, but you should have been eliminated the very first night. It’s an outrage you made it this far.)
SCHOOLED: I also felt awful for Lainey. The realization that her mother had been sober for five years and still hadn’t reached out? Yikes. Yikes. Yikes.
MODERN FAMILY: I kind of love that MODERN FAMILY is going to end, in many ways, like it started: the families meeting a new baby. I am curious what the final hour will look like. Will it all be present day? Will we see a bit further ahead in the kids’ futures?
The highlight of last night’s episode, for me, was Manny and Jay’s wine testing. The other elements were lovely, but it so sweet to see the two men realize they had something in common, plus Jay’s absolute glee over Manny’s competitiveness.
