NBC Sets AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, WORLD OF DANCE Premieres

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and WORLD OF DANCE will kick off their seasons on Tuesday, May 26, NBC announced.

AGT, which kicks off the night at 8/7c, features a judging panel shift, with Heidi Klum returning to the mothership and Sofia Vergara making her debut. (Returning judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel round out the panel.) Terry Crews once again will host the series.

“We are so proud to present a 15th season of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT this summer,” said Cowell, who is also an executive producer, said in a statement. “This show represents the best in perseverance, creativity and optimism. At a time when families are unable to go out we really hope the new season will bring some much-needed joy and escape.”

WORLD OF DANCE, which airs 10/9c, features the return of judges Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, and NE-YO, as well as host Scott Evans.

“I’m so excited WORLD OF DANCE is back this summer with a new crop of incredible dancers,” said Lopez, who is also an executive producer on the series. “On our show we always say that dance is the universal language. It brings us all together, which I think is something we all need during these challenging times.”

NBC teases there will be “exciting new format changes and surprises” in the show’s fourth season.
