HBO Max will officially launch on Wednesday, May 27.
“Our number one goal is having extraordinary content for everyone in the family, and the HBO Max programming mix we are so excited to unveil on May 27th will bear that out,” said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman of Warner Media Entertainment and Direct-To-Consumer, in a statement. “Even in the midst of this unprecedented pandemic, the all-star teams behind every aspect of HBO Max will deliver a platform and a robust slate of content that is varied, of the highest quality, and second to none. I’m knocked out by the breadth and depth of our new offering, from the Max originals, our Warner Bros library and acquisition titles from around the world, and of course the entirety of HBO.”

Comments Off on SUPERSTORE Season 5 Finale: ‘California Part 1’ Photos
SUPERSTORE wraps up its fifth season with the Thursday, April 23 episode, “California Part 1″…which was an episode before the year was supposed to end. (America Ferrera, who was set to leave at the end of the season, has indicated that she will return to wrap up her storyline when the show resumes production.)
“It feels like a finale if you watch it knowing that we actually had a finale that we didn’t get to shoot,” Ben Feldman (Jonah) previously teased. “If you’re watching it and you had no idea that we had to shut down, you’ll probably be like, ‘This is not enough.’ But there’s a satisfying element, at least to Amy and Jonah.”

It’s time for the final group of Knockout Round competitors…including the first-ever four-way Knockout. (The four-way Knockout was implemented this year, as each team’s saved singer from the Battle Rounds will have to face off to move forward in the competition.)
On tap? Team Blake pitting two artists performing Rihanna songs up against each other, Thunderstorm Artis taking on a song by his coach John Legend, Team Nick’s Arei Moon performing a song by former THE VOICE coach Alicia Keys, and Team Kelly’s Anaya Cheyenne picking Kesha’s “Praying”—which Mega Mentor James Taylor is a fan of.
