LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Team Teases ‘The One Where We’re Trapped on TV’

Could this be any more awesome? The LEGENDS OF TOMORROW team winds up “hidden” in various iconic television shows, including FRIENDS and STAR TREK on the Tuesday, May 26 hour, “The One Where We’re Trapped on TV.”

The hour is also marks an important behind-the-scenes milestone, as ARROWverse executive producer Marc Guggenheim makes his directorial debut.

“On some level, we blame him for the crossover, and you could call this our revenge,” LEGENDS OF TOMORROW executive producer Phil Klemmer joked to reporters in the video below. “It’s basically four episodes in one—maybe five. It’s a mashup…of genres. It was probably the smallest bullseye…it could have been the most epic disaster ever.”

LOT star Olivia Swann (Astra) praised how involved he was with the actors during the process of the genre-bending hour and the notes he gave on-set: “He just smashed it.”

But, of course, it’s still a LEGENDS OF TOMORROW hours—and the season is close to ending. “Everything is coming together,” Maisie Richardson-Sellers teased. “There’s this undercurrent of urgency as we need to try and save the world ASAP.”
