About Last Night…AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
May 27, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!
AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: Man, did I sob over Voices Of Our City Choir. I truly hope all of those members are safe during this pandemic.
Other highlights included the pigs (obviously), drummer Malik, singer Archie Williams, and the rapping impersonator Vincent Marcus. Some of these acts can be replicated from home, but I’m very curious what a live show might even look like with acts this big.
But, man, I could have gone the rest of my life without seeing a puppet vomit. Noooooooooo thank you.
LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: Oh. My. God. Cannot imagine how the writers, cast, and director Marc Guggenheim had to balance the tones, characters, and so much more. But what an absolutely delightful hour of television.
It seems like Behrad is sticking around, but I’m really curious to see what they do with the now-split Zaris. Zari 2.0 has been fun, but I’ll admit I’ve missed the original Zari, too. But if they keep both around, is that too much? If it’s a mixture of the two, which one will be the one that takes center stage? (A la Frost and Caitlin on THE FLASH.)
