FOUNDATION: Apple TV+ Reveals First Teaser of Adaptation of the Isaac Asimov Book Series

FOUNDATION, based on the book series by Isaac Asimov, is coming to Apple TV+ in 2021. (The book series was originally a trilogy, but prequels and sequels were later added.)

The streaming platform revealed the first teaser trailer for the upcoming series at WWDC20, as showrunner David S. Goyer introduces the world of the show, “which chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire.”
 
The series star Jared Harris as Hari Seldon; Lee Pace as Brother Day; Lou Llobell as Gaal; Leah Harvey as Salvor; Laura Birn as Demerzel; Terrence Mann as Brother Dusk; and Cassian Bilton as play Brother Dawn.

The series is executive produced by Robyn Asimov, Goyer, Josh Friedman, Cameron Welsh, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross.
