A Beginner’s Guide to SUPERSTORE
July 15, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
SUPERSTORE—the NBC ensemble comedy about workers at a big box store in St. Louis—has long been one of the best shows on television, and a time when laughs are sorely needed, it remains one of the best things to spend your time on.
But it’s also a show with five seasons—98 episodes!—under its belt, which can be overwhelming. With the series now streaming on Peacock (via the premium tier), showruners Gabe Miller and Jonathan Green shared their pick of ten episodes new fans should watch to jump into the excellent series…
"Spokesman Scandal" (Season 2, Episode 4)
"Every TV show has its 'cannibal killer cloud' episode, and Superstore is no exception. The Glenn/Dina dynamic is on full display in this one, and we see Amy and Jonah’s chemistry as they help each other get through a rough day with a series of dares. Plus Mateo kicks off his tumultuous romance with District Manager Jeff (Michael Bunin)."
