Report: LOVE ISLAND Season 2 to be Set in Las Vegas
July 22, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
LOVE ISLAND may air on CBS this summer after all.
A new report from Vulture says that season 2 of the reality series will film at Cromwell, a Las Vegas-based hotel, with the cast and crew quarantining there for the duration of production. (Season 1 of the show—like the UK mothership—had its contestants on an island, living together on a villa.)
The series was originally supposed to return in May, with episodes airing six nights a week (five new installments and then a recap). Plans were scrapped when COVID-19 shut down production, and travel became increasingly more complicated.
According to Vulture, with LOVE ISLAND now in pre-production, the goal is to get the show on the air by the end of summer.
CBS reps have not responded to a request for comment.
