HOOPS: Netflix Animated Series Stages NEW GIRL Reunion

HOOPS, the new animated series starring Jake Johnson, is staging a NEW GIRL reunion.

Max Greenfield, Damon Wayans Jr., and Hannah Simone will guest star in the first season, Netflix announced. Additionally, Will Forte, Guy Fieri, Nick Swardson, Sam Richardson, W. Earl Brown, and Steve Berg will also lend their voices to season 1.

According to Netflix, HOOPS “is an animated comedy sitcom that centers on a hot-headed, foul-mouthed high school basketball coach (Jake Johnson) who thinks turning around his god awful team will take him to the “big leagues” and turn his miserable life around.”

Outside of Johnson, the regular voice cast includes Rob Riggle, Natasha Leggero, Ron Funches, Cleo King, and A.D. Miles.

The series was created by Ben Hoffman. Johnson, Seth Cohen, M. Dickson, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller serve as executive producers. (Lord and Miller also EPed Forte’s LAST MAN ON EARTH.)
