About Last Night…HOLEY MOLEY, BIG BROTHER, and DON’T
August 14, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!
HOLEY MOLEY: Gerard and Johnny helping Connie, their competitor, up the slippery mountain and out of the water was a truly nice thing to do. I almost wish he made it through because of that, but alas…how can you root against a cookie lady? Good for her.
Also, I want The Blender, Rob’s ridiculous course suggestion, to be a thing in season 3.
BIG BROTHER: Okay, my first eviction show was a lot. I don’t really have a gauge for how much was changed due to the pandemic. (Does Julie normally come inside the house? Friends have told me there’s normally an audience, and obviously that didn’t happen.)
I was really surprised Keesha was voted out by EVERYONE. Kaysar and Janelle seemed to be on her side, so at what point did they realize she was totally screwed.
Also, that “watch party” was absolutely miserable and unending. Please tell me Head of Household competitions are more like the jumping one from the premiere than cheesy videos featuring “Uncle Vito.” I’m not really excited about Memphis being HoH, but I’m interested to see what the show looks like now that alliances have been formed and the moving in has been settled.
But, also, we saw nothing about the Have Nots this week? Did that punishment really do that little to impact the game?
DON’T: The matchstick challenge just seems so hard? It’s not like there’s a pattern you can predict and work around…it’s just madness.
Also, we absolutely need to see those “Don’t” tattoos at some point.
