Let’s talk about Thursday night TV!

BIG BROTHER: Okay, this was significantly more messy and dramatic. I left Wednesday’s episode wanting neither David or Nicole to go home, but by the time it came to voting, I wanted both of them gone. David’s interaction with Da’Vonne? YIKES. I know we’re seeing so little of what’s actually going on in the house, but she was trying to help him, and he basically turned his back on her. We, as an audience, know Memphis is shady as hell, but Nicole A. blaming Janelle for not being able to get her off the block? She went hard against the only person actively fighting to keep her in the house. Even Kevin, from what we saw, was passive about things.

But it was gratifying, once Nicole was voted out, to see she truly, truly, truly realized she had messed up. And it’s fascinating they don’t even wait for her to go home and see how much she messed up, they straight-up tell her before she can even see it for herself. I can see how this might get even messier going forward when people start really betraying each other in the interest of getting ahead.

Not thrilled Tyler won HoH. But I can only hope he realizes Memphis is a rat and he turns on him, because, well, Memphis needs to go.
