Nico Santos Shares a Guide to SUPERSTORE
September 8, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
SUPERSTORE is officially back in production for season 6, with a planned premiere date of Thursday, October 22, which means there is just over six weeks for new viewers to catch up on the show’s first 98 episodes. (Or for fans to re-watch.)
The charming NBC comedy—which stars America Ferrera (who is departing in season 6), Ben Feldman, Nico Santos, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nichole Sakura, Mark McKinney, and Kaliko Kauahi—follows the every day adventures of workers at a big box store in St. Louis has long been one of the best shows on television. And thanks to streaming platforms like Peacock, it’s easy to jump into the series at any point.
Intrigued by the show and not quite sure where to start? Santos shared his guide to some of the best installments of SUPERSTORE…
"Shots and Salsa" (Season 1, Episode 3)
"This episode really sets the tone of what everyone loves and comes to expect from our show: dealing with hot button issues with pointed humor and perspectives without it feeling like a “very special” episode. Fun fact: I snuck into the Universal Studios Theme Park during my lunch break, rode some rides then got vertigo and had to immediately go back to filming. I puked in my trailer the second they yelled 'Cut!'"
