More than six months after production shut down, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT and MOM are back up and running.
MOM’s return comes as the CBS comedy is undergoing a massive change, with series star Anna Faris exiting ahead of the upcoming eighth season.
“We are all back at MOM on our first day, with the new COVID protocols,” MOM star Allison Janney said in a video posted on Instagram Stories, accompanying the cast wearing masks. “It’s a whole new territory, but we’re excited for season 8 to begin.”
Kristen Johnston also shared a photo from the set, with Janney, Mimi Kennedy, Jaime Pressly, and Beth Hall masked up.

Meanwhile, SVU has had its own change, as the delay of spinoff ORGANIZED CRIME meant the original plans for the season premiere had to be pushed. Series star Mariska Hargitay posted a photo over the weekend of the cast doing a Zoom read-through of “Remember Me in Quarantine” and back on set…
