About Last Night…BIG BROTHER, SUPERNATURAL, and CONNECTING
October 16, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!
BIG BROTHER: Man, the Jury’s reaction to their family videos were so pure and incredible. I’d still rather watch them instead of the remaining contestants.
But, come on, why the heck did Enzo back out of splitting the vote? They’re all playing so tame and protecting each other to the point where it’s dumb.
(…did Cody start a grease fire?)
SUPERNATURAL: Well, now that Castiel, and, in theory, Dean, know that Jack is going to die, how much of a mess are they going to make to try and save him?
It’s also weird as we have the end around the figurative corner, we don’t know when these scenes between characters will be their final ones. This isn’t going to be a show where every lead has a happy ending and just…lives. And death can be messy and unexpected, so…that’s going to be a fun emotional roller coaster.
CONNECTING: I was wondering how the show would pull off their planned getaway, but of course things were derailed.
But what I’m now really curious to see how the show deals with the widespread protests. Ending with the friends learning of George Floyd’s death was a choice, and it feels like the next episode (or episodes) will be even darker than the show has been so far.
