About Last Night…THE VOICE, BIG BROTHER, MANHUNT: DEADLY GAMES, and More

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!
THE VOICE: I struggled with parts of THE VOICE after it moved remote (primarily with how they staged some of the at-home performances), but I really loved how they handled things in the season 19 premiere. The virtual audience felt present, but not overpowering. And I also appreciate they handled the realities of COVID respectfully. (Though that prop hand needs to be cleaned, my God.)
Through the first episode, Tamara Jade is the front-runner. Wowza.
BIG BROTHER: For a second, I thought Enzo was going to actually put up Cody, but of course he was going to chicken out and not do it. And, yeah, this may screw him over if the noms stick. Cody will obviously pick Nicole, which means Cody is set for final two; frankly, I don’t believe, right now, that Cody would take Enzo over Nicole.
Sigh. Team Moolan.
MANHUNT: DEADLY GAMES: This was my favorite episode of the season so far. It was great and important to see Richard take things into his own hands (I suppose the argument could be made he didn’t try to run as fast as possible, but also, they could easily sync it with an agent trying to make the same time). And after episodes of the FBI being so behind, they’re finally on the right trail, as Eric Rudolph starts to become a real figure in the story. I’m excited to see where it goes.
WEAKEST LINK: How did Mary make it to the final round? Mark wasn’t great, either, but Mary ate up so much time with some of her bad answers, and yikes. Peaking at the right time helped.
