With THE WEST WING reunion, A WEST WING SPECIAL TO BENEFIT WHEN WE ALL VOTE, set to debut in a week, HBO Max has released an official trailer of the cast reuniting to recreate “Hartsfield’s Landing.”
The special will include original stars Rob Lowe, Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, and Martin Sheen as well as appearances by Michelle Obama, President Bill Clinton, and Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear in special act breaks.
The reunion is being done to draw awareness to When We All Vote, a non-profit, nonpartisan organization co-chaired by Michelle Obama. (WarnerMedia made a donation in honor of the reunion.)

DICKINSON season 2 will return on Friday, January 8, 2021, Apple TV+ announced.
The Hailee Steinfeld-led series has also scored an early season 3 renewal. The show, which was created by Alena Smith, also stars Jane Krakowski, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, Toby Huss, Adrian Blake Enscoe, and Wiz Khalifa. Season 2 includes Nick Kroll as Edgar Allan Poe, Timothy Simons as Frederick Law Olmstead, Ayo Edebiri as Hattie, Will Pullen as Nobody, Finn Jones as Sam Bowles, and Pico Alexander as Ship.

NBC’s sole new scripted show this fall is CONNECTING…, a timely comedy about a group of friends struggling to get by in the midst of global upheaval in 2020.
While the comedy has many of the elements viewers are accustomed to (a will they/won’t they couple, a married couple who isn’t quite on the same page), the characters—played by Otmara Marrero, Parvesh Cheena, Shakina Nayfack, Preacher Lawson, Ely Henry, Jill Knox and Keith Powell—interact almost exclusive via Zoom. (The big exception are Knox and Powell, who are married in real-life.)
But as modern as the show is, creators Martin Gero and Brendan Gall (who previously worked together on BLINDSPOT and THE L.A. COMPLEX) looked to iconic sitcoms from the past for inspiration.
“I started rewatching CHEERS right around when we did this,” Gero explains. “That’s a show where the whole episode is basically a scene: they’re there at the bar and they talk about a thing. And that’s what we wanted the show to be. We wanted it to be conversational.”

GREY’S ANATOMY and STATION 19 are kicking off their respective seasons with a crossover major crossover, as the show’s contend with the real-life COVID-19 outbreak.
In light of the real-world tragedy, the first promo for the event teases what’s to come and thanks the real heroes who are putting themselves on the line every day.
“This season, our work is dedicated to the healthcare workers who put their lives on the line every day to try to save ours,” said GREY’S ANATOMY and STATION 19 boss Krista Vernoff in a statement. “Wear a mask, save someone else’s life.”
