Ahead of its August 6 premiere, CBS All Access revealed the opening scene from STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS during the show’s Comic-Con panel.
The animated series “focuses on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, in 2380. Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford and Tendi have to keep up with their duties and their social lives, often while the ship is being rocked by a multitude of sci-fi anomalies.” The voice cast includes Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O’Connell, Fred Tatasciore, and Gillian Vigman.

THE SIMPSONS – Freeform welcomes the Simpson family as America’s longest-running sitcom will begin to air on the network starting this September. Viewers will be able to enjoy episodes from all 30 seasons of the dysfunctional and hilarious adventures of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and the array of quirky supporting characters living in the misfit city of Springfield. Currently in its 30th season, “The Simpsons” is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Matt Groening and developed by James L. Though Comic-Con has found a way to go on, remotely, after its cancellation, one thing can’t really be replicated with virtual panels: the off-site activations.
In years past, networks and studios have gone all out, with pop-up WESTWORLD experiences, the bonkers SLEEPY HOLLOW virtual reality experience, NBC recreating THE GOOD PLACE’s neighborhood and SUPERSTORE’s Cloud 9, FX’s arena, and so much more.
